Primary Purpose:
Responsible for selling company's products in NW area by identifying leads, educating prospects on products through calls, training, presentations and providing existing customers with exceptional support.
Increase market share, achieve sales targets and contribution margin goals.Travel requirements:
Travel to NW frequently
Duties and Responsibilities:
Aftermarket Department.
Achieve sales target and GP targets according to COT's / KPI's.
Manage customer accounts in all economical respects within area of responsibility.
Growing customer base and aftermarket industry in area of responsibility.
Liase with customer services, logistics, production, and engineering with respect to own customers.
To identify marketplace opportunities & prospects and to engage new customers, further expand existing customer base, develop proposals, and manage the overall sales cycle.
To demonstrate advanced sales techniques, market research and business skills while upholding the company's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
Plan and arrange appointments with customers.
Quote follow-ups on a day to day and weekly basis.
Assist with quotations and customer queries.
Site visits with customers.
Collecting customer feedback and market research.
Reporting to Aftermarket Sales Manager.
Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
Tracking and following up on back-order sales to be invoiced every 3rd week of the month.
Channel management actual sales vs operative plan.
Target actual contribution margin vs CM target new customer acquisitions.
Sales conversion rate against quotations personal goals.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Matric - 5 years' experience in Sales / Filtration / HVAC in a technical environment.
Afrikaans 1st language, English read and write.
Travel as required.
Manage area of responsibility.
Excellent communication skills, time management skills, customer orientated, sales and admin.
Team player but able to work alone.
Must know how to hunt for new business.
Building and maintain strong customer relationship, technical minded.
Must be in good health to travel to NW area & visit customers on industrial sites.
Travel locally and occasional sleeping out is mandatory.
Required Attributes:
Minimum intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (SAP advantageous).
Self-motivated and target driven.
Strong verbal/written communication skills to communicate with all levels of customers.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
Good reasoning abilities and sound judgement.
Trustworthy, discrete and a high degree of personal integrity to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment while maintaining balance and adhering to strict deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
