Our client a large legal firm in Sandton Gauteng is currently looking to employ a reliable and experienced Legal Secretary for their branch soonest.


Must have Ghost Practice and CaseLines and Court online experience

Little information about the company and the role:

  • A mid-sized law firm with A-grade Sandton offices (25 people) is seeking a mid-level Legal Secretary.
  • Tasks include both interpersonal responsibilities and administrative duties, and a wellrounded individual is most likely to succeed in the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal documents when requested, including subpoenas, motions, and summonses
  • Filing case documents in an organized manner for easy access, uploading to CaseLines
  • Sending faxes, arranging legal messenger services, and making copies of legal documents
  • Preparing documents and case files for attorney use in court
  • Booking meetings and coordinating diaries of multiple consultant attorneys in the office
  • General admin and personal assistant duties, as well as office administration
  • Must have own car or reliable transport and be available to commence duties within two weeks.
  • Qualifications: Secretarial diploma or administration certificate
  • Experience 25 years experience in a commercial and litigation law firm (nonnegotiable)

Salary:
R22, R32,000.00 per month
