My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join their team.

As the backbone of their office operations, you'll play a pivotal role in managing administrative tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of their office.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Accounting system experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping on Xero


Debtors
  • Quotes, invoicing (including project reminders), payment reminders
  • Credit/ Garage cards capture and reconcile transactions, management of limits and cancellations
  • Bank recons.


Efiling
  • VAT20
  • Financial Reporting


Management reports
  • GL recons, Management Financial Statement & Cash Flow
  • Project reporting
  • Annual budget preparation
  • Collaborating with independent auditors to compile the annual financial statements
  • Human Resources
  • Maintaining staff files and contracts
  • Payroll processing on SimplePay


Efilingsubmission
  • EMP20
  • Leave management
  • Manage complex remuneration packages
  • Teambuilding
  • Compliance


Liase with Auditors
  • BEE, Annual return (AFS), COID, EMP501, TCC
  • Assist with Health & Safety purchases, employee medicals, COC's


Assist iComply
  • POPI, SDL
  • Ensure smooth running of the Office
  • Answer the phone send telephonic leads to Marketing Manager
  • Manage Cleaner
  • Manage facilityrelated SLA's (telephones, printers, IT subscriptions)
  • Basic IT support/ liaise with IT consultant
  • Vehicle licence renewals
  • Insurance
  • Travel arrangements for Directors and Project teams
  • Executive support to the Managing and Technical Director
