Job Summary

  • Leadership of the Strategic Communications, Engagement and Marketing Strategy function within ITO, a centre of excellence to provide communications and engagement strategy, campaign strategy and coordinate gotomarket activities. Spans the endtoend ITO value chain to enable ITO to realise its strategic aspirations, strategy cascade, culture and leadership narrative and EVP. Strategically position ITO internally and externally to drive the technology agenda and position ITO in the market through the development and execution of innovative engagement and marketing campaign strategies.

Job Description:

- _ Accountability: Leadership and People Management_
- _ Provide continuous people development and mentoring activities to team to achieve excellent business results. Team includes Communication experts/leads, Event specialists, Graphic designers and engagement analysts._
- _ Define and build strategic relationships with stakeholders in the Group functions and Business Units and Technology teams to ensure effective delivery._
- _ Marketing and communication of the ITO technology strategy with senior stakeholders for the area with a focus on strategy delivery, security, digital transformation and culture, and stability of technology systems._
- _ Accountable for the communication of the ITO strategy to managers and employees in the ITO._
- _ Ensure the development of a high-performing team through embedding formal performance development (PD) and informal strengths-based coaching._
- _ Managing the development of direct reports and others in line with company guidelines and budget_
- _ Driving for results to improve team performance and deliver value to the ITO business area_
- _ Monitor and maintain a succession plan for key roles within the team with support from the People Partner._
- _ Accountability: Strategic Engagement strategy design_
- _ Critically evaluate the ITO strategic business agenda, business value propositions and employee value proposition to develop short,me dium and long term engagement and marketing strategies to deliver on business aspiration._
- _ Support the development of business area engagement, communications and marketing plans with a clear focus to meeting business objectives._
- _ Build insight capability and data in order to inform engagement strategy, build, implement and measure of strategic campaigns and plans._
- _ Accountability: Integration of marketing strategy_
- _ Work and collaborate with Group Marketing & Communications, Brand & Reputation Management, and other Business Units to drive and ensure integrated marketing and internal / external communications._
- _ Work with appointed Agency partners to develop industry leading communication strategies, campaigns and media strategy._
- _ Accountability: EVP and Culture_
- _ Develop integrated strategic planning to drive employee value proposition and change in colleague culture and perception, improve and drive business colleague engagement outcomes._
- _ Develop programmes and plan strategic media channel strategies in order to deliver against ITO strategic engagements requirements as informed by the colleague survey results._
- _ Develop campaigns and support for People function and network of alliances and partners to optimise colleague programmes within ITO._
- _ Accountability: External ITO Branding_
- _ Co-ordinate all external engagements (and communication) activity across the ITO function._
- _ Ensure ITO leadership visibility and position ITO as thought-leader_
- _ Ensure the co-ordination of key activity and dialogue on key industry technology trends and integrate into campaign calendar._
- _ Support ITO market agenda._
- _ Co-ordinate marketing budgeting and ensure spend is effective and efficient._

- _ Accountability: Marketing Metrics_

- _ Providing input into Group Communications and Marketing standards and governance for measurement._
- _ Translating and setting performance standards for campaigns as it relates to ITO._

  • Integrated reporting on engagement and marketing campaign performance to ITO, leveraging data and insights across all platforms and channels_
Preferred Education

  • Relevant business, social science, marketing or communications degree (Essential)
  • 510 years reporting exp
  • 510 years people / stakeholder management experience
Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas:
Communication Studies and Language (required)
