Purpose of the Job:


To ensure safe receipts, loading, offloading and blending of chemicals whilst maintaining quality, maintain good planning for excellent customer order fulfillment, through vehicle and resource management and ensure correct inventory monitoring, dipping and adherence to work procedures for stock counts in order to safeguard compliance to all work instructions.

What you'll have done before:

Baseline:

  • Diploma in Transport/Operations or Logistics.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Depot Operations or Logistics.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a depot / operations environment.

Advantageous:

  • Degree in Transport/Operations or Logistics.
  • Knowledge of Depot Customer Service, Dispatching, Planning & Stock Control.
  • Depot Supervisory experience.

  • Assist to communicate, interpret and adhere to Engen's Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) policies and Zero Tolerance (ZeTo) rules.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure efficient operational planning through optimisation of vehicle usage.
  • Ensure that products are blended as per production order.
  • Perform stock counts.
  • Provide mentorship/ onthejob training.
  • Report operations challenges.
  • Observe contractor work on site and issue of permits and ensure service providers follow site rules and regulations, report to Plant Supervisor.
  • Build and maintain relationships and communication with SC and DRP.
  • Model the HSEQ Generative Culture change at the Depot and ensure Behaviour Observations (BOS) audits are done.
  • Ensure weighbridge operations are correctly followed.
  • Assist in meeting safety KRA's and compliance with incident investigations and actions.
  • Participate in all audits.
  • Sustain effective working relationships and rapport with all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of competent working team.
  • Follow the implementation of applicable PETRONAS procedures and guidelines and affect the compliance to statutory and legislative requirements.
