CSV is currently seeking to add an experienced
Senior Building Foreman to its team of professionals.

Senior Building Foreman - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary:


The Building Foreman leads construction workers in ensuring that building works are completed on time and within budget to the quality standards required, liaises with key internal and external stakeholders including client representatives, and ensures that all resources (people, plant and materials) are planned for and utilised correctly and efficiently.

Duties/Responsibilities:_

  • Manage and control all aspects of building works on Site
  • Coordinates workflows in accordance to priorities and Site Programme
  • Creates schedules and assigns general and daily tasks to subordinates (Construction Foremen, Tradespeople and construction workers)
  • Ensures that all resources (people, plant and materials) are scheduled, planned and or ordered timeously as per Company protocols and processes
  • Supervising and mentoring Construction Supervisors, tradespeople and subcontractors assigned to the work area
  • Ensures that records are completed accurately daily diaries, HSE paperwork, attendance registers, order forms, amongst others
  • Liaises with all project stakeholders, internal and external client representatives
  • Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed
  • Troubleshoots routine issues
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Indepth knowledge of construction industry and processes
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills

Education and Experience:_

  • At least 10 years' experience as a Senior Building Foreman

  • Must have a clear criminal record (Client Requirement)
