Human Resources Administrator Based in Cape Town

This position is primarily responsible for execution of the daily Human Resources function including assisting with recruitment, renumeration (offer letters) and contracts of employment, termination and labour relations of the Organisation employees.

The incumbent will also be responsible for weekly and monthly HR reporting and support program implementation by ensuring that recruitments and appointments are initiated and finalized on time.

This position will contribute to the annual audits by providing supporting documents relating to human resources activities.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Administer the human resources plans and procedures which relate to organization employees.
  • Assist with the recruitment process (Job adverts, interview coordination, onboarding documentation, orientation)
  • Responsible for the preparation of Offers of employment, Contacts of employment etc.
  • Conducting exit interviews.
  • Ensure the Organization is Compliance (Application of LRA, BCEA and all related Acts and Policies and HR process guidelines)
  • Monitor the overall HR systems and procedures across the Organization.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Collate and capture all leave requests.
  • Operational team support (as needed and directed)

Reporting:

The HR Administrator will work under supervision and guidance by the Head : Human Resources

Minimum Requirements:

  • Human Resources Management Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of operational experience in a Human Resources/Relations work environment.
  • At least 2 to 3 years in an NGO grant funded sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and sound understanding of Payroll processes.
  • Excellent time and deadlines management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
