Job Description:

  • The Commercial Analyst will support the GSS PS Commercial Business Partner to measure, monitor and provide accurate and timeous monthend reporting and cost management review. This role will monitor performance and provide cost management requirements inclusive of actual, forecast and budget submissions for GSS PS teams.

The primary accountabilities will incorporate:

  • Ensure monthly commercial requirements are completed in all service centres including accruals, journals, reallocations, recharges and labour costing to ensure accurate expenditure reporting.
  • Manage global head count costs
  • Support the GSS PS Commercial Business Partner to prepare the GSS PS global reforecasts and annual budget for all service centres
  • Engage with GSS PS team members to ensure that measures/costs being reported upon adequately reflect the activities of the Service Line
  • Monitor the cost performance of Service Lines and highlight any areas of concern to the GSS PS Commercial Business Partner to take appropriate action
  • Provide cost management support for GSS PS global teams, inclusive of monthly actual cost performance, reforecast submissions and annual budget preparation
  • Ensure that a change request is in place for all service lines activities and any changes to service activities are updated in revised service change requests
  • Coordinate and support Service Line leads in creating PR's and invoice management for GSS PS vendors

This role is at a Band 7 level, reporting to the GSS PS Global Commercial Business Partner.

  • Qualifications
  • A relevant bachelor's degree in Business or Finance

Experience required:

  • 3 years previous experience in management accounting support for a large multinational or global business
  • Good operational experience or knowledge of SAP Finance.
  • Understand stakeholder requirements for new cost reporting requests and advise on best practice approaches to report development
  • Logical thinker with problem solving capability
  • Proficient English written and verbal communication competency
  • Strong PC skills, with a confident approach working with MS Office
  • An incumbent must be cleared by the relevant employee background check
