Requirements:

A relevant BTech, B degree or National Diploma in Architecture,

Planning, Urban Design or a related qualification

  • Up to two (2) years' relevant working experience
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of heritage legislation and
practice

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office
  • A valid Code EB driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas

  • Provide a heritage impact assessment service in the Strand district
office

  • Provide basic heritage resource management knowledge and
support within the region

  • Provide professional heritage management input to multidisciplinary
teams, projects and plans

strategic forward planning and policy initiatives

  • Initiate and manage heritage improvement projects
  • Monitor compliance with development control conditions
  • Enforcement and remedial action for illegal or detrimental activities.
