Role Responsibilities:

Market investment portfolios and identify potential retail clients.

Utilise existing networks to grow the company's investment business.

Effectively communicate and position the company's propositions and portfolios to potential clients.

Meet yearly targets by securing sales and facilitating asset inflows.

Build and maintain relationships with Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).


Organise and structure IFA events, webinars, and other marketing activities in alignment with the company's overall marketing and group events.

Understand the impact of discretionary fund flows on the group's bottom line.

Take ownership of effectively marketing and managing IFAs to meet yearly targets.

Continuously develop knowledge of asset management.

Provide sound judgement and recommendations to IFAs that align with the principal's good business practice.

Communicate messages using a personalised style and obtain buy-in from IFAs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant Bachelor's Degree (Commerce, Economics, Business Science etc.).

Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Regulatory Examination for Representatives (RE 5).

CFA Level 1 would be advantageous.

Relevant Skills / Experience:

Possess over 5 years of professional experience in the investment industry

Have a strong ability to connect with Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and an extensive network of existing relationships within the SME space

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the global and local investment landscape

Possess exceptional people skills with an innate ability to establish and nurture relationships

Confidently present to groups, delivering presentations that are both engaging and informative.
