CONTENT MANAGER E-COMMERCE:

    YOUR MISSION:

The Content Manager will be an integral part of the e-commerce team, which is responsible for PUMAs website that contains brand and commercial parts in one platform.


The Content Manager will maintain the product database and work closely with the buyers and planners to maintain optimal product assortments and inventory allocation.

Primary responsibilities will include development of all product descriptions, categorization, cross-sells, and attributions. Responsibilities will also include all maintenance of on-site banners, search and navigation taxonomy, user filters, and landing pages/collections.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Work with eCommerce merchandising team to manage catalog merchandising and internal business unit strategies.
  • Ensure the website provides an engaging customer experience that enhances brand affinity and loyalty.
  • Assist in merchandising the website, set up and maintenance of all products and catalogs and additional navigational elements according the marketing & content calendar.
  • Create and support the production of the article master data like copy and translations and images as well as webcontent specific productattributes across regions.
  • Setup and maintain customer groups, promotions and campaigns as well as content slots.
  • Analyze sales performance with powerful webanalytics tools to evaluate merchandising efforts, product sell through, and product opportunities in order to improve conversion.
  • Support the Brand Marketing Team with maintaining brand content syndicated from Social Channels or any other channels that will be used for Brand media campaigns into the ZA web site
  • Improve conversion rate through conventional and innovative datadriven optimization tactics
  • Be part of the development of creative assets and tools needed to effectively communicate the PUMA message to consumers (e.g. newsletters, banners, etc).
  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of services by external content providers and agencies, consultants and partners.

  • Onsite conversion rate as KPI for all eCom team members
  • Content updates on time
  • Landing pages preparations on time
  • 100% completion for onsite content, e.g. photos and descriptions/translations for product catalogue
  • Content preps for promotions or any other salesdriven activities
  • Regular testing and enhancements to UI/UX

YOUR TALENT:

Experience
years of e-Commerce experience.

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel proficient).
  • Experience with webbased content management systems (Demandware / Magento knowledge a definite plus).
  • Experience with PIM system a plus.
  • Basic skills in HTML and XML as well as image editing tools.

Capabilities

  • Extreme attention to detail is a must for this position.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignment.
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; for example demonstrated through reporting and presentations in a business context.
  • Fluent English.
