Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy: Shape and execute our clients strategic vision, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and operational plans.
  • Collective Bargaining: Facilitate the collective bargaining process between employers and employees, fostering agreements consistent with industry regulations.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee organisational functions to meet stakeholder needs and strategic objectives.
  • Financial Management: Ensure financial stability and compliance within budgetary guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, serving as the chief spokesperson.
  • Ethical Governance: Uphold corporate governance standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Human Capital Management- To ensure the appropriateness of organisational structures and adequacy of staffing with suitably qualified and experienced people. To agree and meet transformation goals and develop staff through the implementation of a performance management process.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Labour Law, Finance, or Administration.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior management roles, preferably in a bargaining council environment.
  • Previous experience and ability to administer a wide range of collective agreements will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Strong financial planning and management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including visionary leadership and accountability.

Remuneration:
The remuneration package for this position is competitive and commensurate with its seniority.
