  • Check detailed design drawings and specifications thoroughly
  • Ensure proposal and costing drawings have no errors
  • Check correct mathematical formulae are used and verify design calculations to ensure soundness of the design
  • Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas and related data and analyze to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed
  • Identify operating deficiencies and correct as required to reduce production problems
