Introduction


We are seeking a results-oriented Manager, Field Service Product Management to join our Field Services team of Metso Services Business Area In this position, you are responsible for the field services product development, commercialization and implementation.

In this role, you report to Director, Field Service Product Development.


The preferred location for this position is Finland, other Europe or South Africa, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

Please note that some travel is involved in this position.

Team you belong to

We offer you an interesting position in the Field Services product group of Metso Services Business Area.

You will work with professionals in field services business globally, with all our technologies and in close collaboration with the Market Areas' field service teams.

The Field Services Product Group is P&L responsible for the field services business in Metso.

It hosts a global pool of product-based field service competency teams, develops profitable field service products/offerings together with other service PGs and market areas, drives field service development with harmonized processes & tools for an efficient execution that delivers a tier 1 company customer experience.

As a Manager, Field Services Product Management, you will

Develop, commercialize, launch and implement Field Service products in collaboration with other stakeholders
Ensure Field Service product delivery capability and Product Data Management compliance
Create Field Services product sales, product pricing and go-to-market strategies
Implement Field Service Products and engage market areas
Act as a Technical Sales Support for Field Service Products
Validate and approve Field Service product information.

Who you are

You have previous product management experience and commercialization experience in the service business
You have at least a few years of experience in field service, mining or similar industry
You have strong facilitation skills and you are able to lead and empower people in a global matrix organization
You have a customer-oriented mindset with an understanding of customer needs & operations
You are self-driven and not afraid to push things forward
You have a strong financial and commercial acumen
A degree in Engineering, Business or in a related discipline is preferred
