Job Purpose
To develop and oversee the execution of a Parts Distribution Center and Parts Sales strategy in line with global standards to minimise costs, optimise operations and grow top line performance.

Drive synergies between the PDC and the Aftersales division of the Company
Develop and maintain a comprehensive warehouse strategy, ensuring efficient inventory management, implementing process improvements, and managing a team of Distribution Center managers and staff.

GENERIC JOB OUTPUTS
PROCESS
- Analyse dealer stock and ordering trends, and implement M/Importer best practices to improve service to end users.
- Analyse, interpret and produce detailed reports that explain trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans to support multifunctional strategic objectives in conjunction with other business units.
- Develop, implement and manage parts service levels agreements to the dealer network in order to enhance dealer performance.
- Ensure Dealer network and Importer compliance according to M/ Importer, policies, procedures and standards.
- Establish and enhance qualitative inventory processes in order to meet demand, availability and cost targets thereby optimising stockholding.
- Implement corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in multiple practice areas in order to identify and manage risk liabilities.
- Keep abreast of latest technology and industry best practices to improve warehouse operations where applicable.
- Manage and report on sales and financial performance.
- Manage the efficient operation of the warehouse by implementing productivity and quality standards in order to meet the warehouse operations performance objectives.
FINANCE:
- Contribute to the setting of budgets, minimise expenditure and manage costs and assets effectively.
- Optimise warehouse operations in order to maximise efficiencies that contributes to cost reductions.
- Plan and implement a cycle of constant cost improvements in area of responsibility.
- Provide guidance with regard to the optimisation of dealer ordering patterns in order to increase profitability.
CLIENT**:
- Build and maintain Dealer network relationship to ensure service delivery excellence to end users.
- Develop and manage sustainable relationships with customers that contribute to a culture of customer service excellence.
- Plan and deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to exceed customer' expectations in the business.
- Prepare service delivery excellence plans for customers and ensure implementation.
PEOPLE:
- Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition.
- Develop and implement change management initiatives.
- Develop and implement people strategies in line with service delivery, performance objectives and budgets.
- Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Experience
- 8 years' experience in a similar environment, of which at least 4 years' senior management experience
Minimum Qualification
Post Graduate degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Post Graduate degree in a Finance/Accounting discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent, preferably CA (SA) qualification)
