What We'll Bring:

Supporting the administration and operation of key UK risk governance activities (e.g. UK ORC), producing risk reporting and administering UK policy governance processes.

What You'll Bring:

Key tasks and accountabilities:

Reporting to the Director of UK Risk and Compliance, and fulfilling the following duties:
Administration and operation of key risk governance activities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of risk governance meetings (e.g. UK ORC)
  • Preparing reporting packs for ORC
  • Collating and reviewing papers from contributors
  • Arranging committee meetings and tracking attendance
  • Taking minutes, tracking actions and ensuring updates are provided by action owners in a timely manner.
Producing risk reporting

  • Working with stakeholders to obtain relevant information for inclusion in risk reports
  • Drafting commentary to explain trends
  • Summarising mitigation plans
  • Assisting with the design and continued evolution of risk report formats
Administering UK policy governance processes

  • Maintaining the UK policy governance schedule
  • Communicating policy governance requirements and renewal schedules to policy owners
  • Facilitating stakeholder review of policies prior to renewal
  • Ensuring policy owners have submitted policies to the appropriate governance committees for renewal at the appropriate time.

Key skills required:

  • Background in risk management, governance or compliance
  • Knowledge of, or involvement in, risk governance committees
  • Experience producing risk reporting or other highprofile management information
  • Comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholder, including senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with a focus on meeting deadlines and proactive communication of issues
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Minute taking
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
"It is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment.


A Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line in order to work effectively.
