Our Client is a diversified Property development company based in Morningside, Durban looking for a Office Assistant to join there team.


Qualifications required:

MUST HAVE :
Matric Degree or Diploma in Office Administration, or similar field

Experience and Skills Required:

MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT EXPERIENCE

  • 58 years' experience as an office assistant
  • Indepth understanding of the entire office suite
  • Professional level of verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving with strong decisionmaking skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid drivers licence

Key deliverables:

  • Effectively set up and maintain a filing system which will consist of important documentation for executives
  • Reading and analysing incoming memo's, reports, submissions and distributing them as needed
  • Coordinate all marketing events/business lunches and dinners
  • Type all documents, memos and reports
  • Be proactive in managing the executive's diary and effectively communicate with senior management on their upcoming meetings.
  • Effective and accurate minute taking for internal and external meetings
  • Print calendar, minutes and all other documents required for all meetings
  • Compile and timeously distribute minutes and collate documentation required for meetings
  • Perform basic follow ups on action items
  • Attend to any ad hoc personal (private) tasks for Executives
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Keep clients informed (verbally and/or in writing) if any unresolved requirement is outstanding
  • Delivering effective and consistent service and support to clients within specified service level agreements
  • Handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • Confidentiality on all documents/meetings etc. always needs to be upheld
  • Management of office support staff
  • Managing office stock and inventory
  • Possible driving duties as and when required.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
