Prestigious boutique investment management firm has an exciting opportunity in their operations team for a young, super organised and dynamic professional with strong accountability and the ability to deal directly with very wealthy and sophisticated clients.

The role will involve the entire client onboarding process, managing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and project involvement to improve the overall investor experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the client onboarding process, ensuring the necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements and deadlines are met, including KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Managing and updating investor reporting systems.
  • Accounting for transactions including investor transfers, switches and buybacks.
  • Assisting with preparation of investor reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support operational initiatives and provide ongoing operational support.
  • Supporting the fund managers and operations team on a daytoday and projectrelated basis.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external counterparties, including originating partners, advisors, fund custodians, administrators, data providers, etc.
  • Analysing and assessing the current client onboarding, reporting investment processes and procedures, and identify possible improvements involving the reengineering of operational flows.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 to 2 years' experience in fund operations, onboarding, or investment administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or related field.
  • An allrounder with a record of academic excellence and professional achievements.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to client onboarding and operations (e.g., KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, etc.).
  • Selfstarter, process driven, and solutionorientated with the ability to work independently and exercise discretion.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Personality that thrives in a small business with the ability to take initiative, with strong accountability.
  • Experience with alternative asset classes (e.g., private equity, hedge funds, real estate) is advantageous.
