JOB SUMMARY


Conduct internal sales according to set targets and provide clerical and organizational support to the Sales Representative for a Waste Management company.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and qualify sales leads.
  • Tracking sales lead information such as names, contact information, and attending to follow up activities.
  • Sell to Internal Customers.
  • Visiting customers on occasion to build strong relationships with them and to understand their business.
  • Compile quotations, proposals and tenders.
  • Compile pricing list and update monthly.
  • Communicating with customers with regards to order status, pricing etc.
  • Compiling customer quotes and validating invoices.
  • Liaising with the vendors regarding delivery of equipment to clients.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  • Assisting with the sales department's diary management and arranging meetings.
  • Recording and processing sales department expenses.
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers and potential customers.
  • Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and participate in the weekly Sales Meeting.
  • Compile sales reports.
  • Excellent communicator and proficiency in English language.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed Matric Relevant qualification.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred for this role.
  • 3 years' experience in selling and Sales Administration.
  • Computer literate: MS Office (Advanced skills)
  • Valid Code 08 License.
