PURPOSE:


Leading the internal creative studio department, the Creative Director will oversee a team of creative professionals by providing guidance and management on various projects across the marketing and communications function.

They will coordinate work among a team of creative professionals as well as ensure that the concept is designed properly within the development phases to meet brand consistency.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Define the creative vision for all brand, advertising campaigns, and marketing messages
  • Draw from their holistic understanding of the entire creative process to identify great copy, design, and messaging
  • Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion
  • Establish schedules for shortterm and longterm projects, plan tasks accordingly, and ensure goals and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure the execution of all creative work stays within budget.
  • Ensure visuals, messaging, and interactive elements of a project are properly aligned with the creative vision and brand standards.
  • Mentor, motivate and supervise the creative team.
  • Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas.
  • Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team.
Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, and other relevant fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years' proven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role
  • Handon experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
  • Outstanding leadership and organization skills
  • Have indepth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
