Hybrid role:

This position is accountable for creating and implementing the Talent Acquisition Strategy.

To design and oversee strategically aligned platforms, processes and practices to attract and place high quality and diverse talent in line with business strategy.

This position will drive the strategic priorities of Talent Acquisition, which includes monitoring and leading the recruitment procedures through establishing strong internal recruitment capability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

  • Set, implement and lead Talent Acquisition Strategy aligned with overall HR and business strategy
  • Transform, enable, continuous improve and innovate Talent Acquisition systems and initiatives
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships and business partnerships with relevant stakeholders
  • Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition team

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION*:

Post-graduate qualification in Human Resources/ Industrial Psychology

  • Minimum of years experience in Human Resources
  • Minimum 5 years in a Talent Acquisition environment
  • At least 5 years sourcing experience using different methods, including advanced talent search techniques in a large organisation OR working as a Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist in a top consultancy
  • Successful track record of developing niche talent sourcing strategies
  • Proven track record of codeveloping and implementing successful employer branding activities
  • Experience in talent acquisition data interpretation, insights and reporting
  • Experience in talent acquisition data interpretation, insights and reporting

  • Financial Management
  • Business acumen to integrate and interpret scarce skills strategy across key business indicators within the context in SA healthcare industry
  • Data and trend analysis as well as forecasting skills
  • Healthcare, especially hospital management and nursing

  • People management skills
  • Regulatory framework and related organisations directing the appointment of foreign nationals
  • Research skills
  • Reporting and data insights capability
  • Strategy development and implementation
  • Talent Acquisition methodology and practices
  • Talent management methodologies, value chain and practices
  • Computer Skills MS Office suite
