In this position, you will introduce and acquaint both new and existing clients with the features of ADP's integrated payroll and HR systems. You hold the responsibility of upholding ADP's service reputation and ensuring client satisfaction.

Your main task is to assist clients by setting up payrolls in compliance with regulations while establishing and nurturing long-term client relationships to secure repeat business. Each day will present new challenges as the requests you receive will vary. You will need to offer solutions through investigation and problem-solving, keeping things engaging, and our highly-rated training will prepare you for success

To excel in this role, you should have excellent client interaction skills that build connections, instill trust, and showcase professionalism. WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:

  • Implement additional features/modules/methods, etc.
  • Understand the client's internal business needs and provide recommendations and solutions to meet them
  • Establish and maintain proactive relationships and communication with clients and ADP departments/colleagues to contribute to a successful overall client experience
  • Set and oversee activities toward project milestones either independently or with the Project Manager
  • Keep clients and ADP Project Managers informed about project status to ensure completion of tasks as per schedule
  • Identify issues and devise innovative solutions to aid the business with their long-term requirements
  • Conduct thorough system testing and present findings to the wider project team
  • Organize meetings, lead workshops, and deliver presentations
  • Ensure project adherence to set timelines and attend project meetings with clients to review progress and critical issues
  • Create customized reports and interfaces
  • Perform tasks outside of the monthly payroll cycle, such as year-end tax activities

TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE:

  • You should have 3+ years of payroll experience or experience as an HRIS practitioner with payroll system knowledge (experience with Sage300 and/or Premier is essential)
  • Possess a diploma/degree in commerce/human resources or a related field/qualification/experience
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role

  • Thorough understanding of South African payroll practices
  • Familiarity with South African payroll tax and labor laws
  • Capability to work independently and offer solutions to clients
  • Ability to influence clients and steer them towards optimal solutions to address their needs

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:

  • Experience in a Payroll Outsourcing setting would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with payroll tax legislation in other African countries would be advantageous
  • Previous end-to-end implementation experience in the HCM domain (Preferred)
