An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Socio-Economic Development (SED) Coordinator, to manage all CSI initiatives and ensure that the budgeting costs are used appropriately in line with the organisation's requirements and plans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' working experience in an HR or Marketing environment

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handle the daytoday coordination, scheduling, and administrative tasks of the SED portfolio.
  • Ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate, complete, filed, uptodate and distributed (where necessary) timeously.
  • Plan and implement new projects in line with the SED budgets and plans ensure that projects are managed from start to finish.
  • Take full responsibility for all project administration, preparation of corporate engagements, and SEDrelated reporting activities.
  • Provide support in programme management (for e.g., organisation of venues, catering, distribution of information packages before and after events, etc.).
  • Provide personalised support to entrepreneurs who are beneficiaries, providing comprehensive advice in different key areas (marketing and sales, costs and finances, operations, legal aspects, among others).
  • Gather and analyse relevant SMME information/evidence and help prepare reports and/or presentations.
  • Assist with the preparation and compilation of Socio-Economic Development financial reports and other monthly reports.
  • Provide input into and actively manage the Socio-Economic Development budget, plan, track, analyse and ensure compliance with budgets.
  • Process and manage beneficiary payments.
  • Proactively research local and global best practice to improve current processes and practices.
  • Create awareness of SED/ CSI Initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with adhoc requests.
