Release Train Engineer- Digital Lifestyle Services

- The Release Train Engineer is responsible for the planning, coordination, and deployment of all releases into production within a specific domain or business outcome.
- Responsible for identifying, managing, and mitigating cross-program risks and issues to ensure on-time delivery of capabilities aligned with the business outcome vision.
- Works closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to coordinate delivery of capabilities.
- Defines release readiness requirements against business outcome needs and validates readiness before production release.
- Drive Agile Release Train based on agreed objectives.
- Facilitate planning sessions and risk resolution.
- Work with leaders on program backlog and execution.
- Maintain metrics for visibility into program plans, progress, and quality.
- Support Product Owners with requirements and Scrum activities.
- Help ensure value delivery.
- Aggregate team objectives into program objectives.
- Facilitate synchronization meetings.
- Assist with economic decision-making and estimation.
- Manage program planning, monitoring, deployment, and continuous improvement of releases.
- Provide technical leadership for software development squads, collaborate on technical issues, evaluate processes, and streamline operations.
- Implement risk mitigation and oversee security audits.
- Coordinate product development and operations teams, bridging development and operations.
- Drive ideation and development of new products and services from concept to reality.
- Establish manufacturing and distribution processes for product scaling.
- Ensure quality of requirements and direct design team activities.
- Work closely with solution analysts to align solutions with enterprise-level systems.
- Participate in research on existing systems and devise solutions within those systems.
- Manage sourcing relationships and external vendors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Eight or more years' experience in coordinating and delivering major projects.
- Extensive experience in managing dependencies across multiple teams effectively.
- Formal training/certification in Scaled Agile Framework or similar preferred.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of insurance, digital, and Telecommunications industries.
- Release train planning, coordination, facilitation, and management.
- PI Planning, continuous integration, DevOps processes, and tools.
- Vendor selection, project planning, stakeholder management skills.
- Business acumen, collaboration skills, and ability to coach agile teams.
- Systems thinking and ability to escalate issues when needed.
