As the Regional SHERQ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, health, environment, risk, and quality standards across multiple sites within the region.

Our client, in partnership with RPO Recruitment, is committed to providing a safe and sustainable work environment.

In this role, you will develop and implement safety and quality programs, conduct audits and inspections, and provide training to employees to promote a culture of safety and excellence.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in SHERQ performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement safety, health, environment, risk, and quality (SHERQ) policies, procedures, and programsEnsure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and industry standardsConduct periodic audits and inspections to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actionsProvide guidance and support to site managers and employees on SHERQ mattersDevelop and deliver training programs to promote safety awareness and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in SHERQ performanceLead incident investigations and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrencesMonitor and analyze SHERQ data to identify trends and opportunities for improvementPrepare reports and presentations on SHERQ performance for management and external stakeholdersStay updated on industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in SHERQ management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental management, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in SHERQ management within the packaging industryProven knowledge and experience in SHERQ legislation, regulations, and industry standardsStrong leadership and communication skillsEffective training and presentation skillsAudit and inspection experienceProblem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively across teams and influence othersProficient in Microsoft Office suite and SHERQ management softwareValid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region
