OPPORTUNITY- Santam's Motor Claims has a position available for a Motor Car Hire Consultant that will be based in ParktownThe purpose of this position is manage the cost on car hire within Santam, Arranging car hire, engaging with clients and brokers for the arrangement and managing the time period cars are on rent, engaging with MBR and car rental companies consistently to expedite, extend & terminate car hire, Manage multiple active rentals as well as deal with escalations and complaints received regarding all car hire aspects.- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage workload and instructions from system through any communication and or documents.


  • Responsible for all actions relating to car hire.
  • Contact client or intermediary telephonically for any information needed for car hire initiation, extension or termination and any queries that may rise?
  • Update Abuntex status and escalate to CRM's were MBR's are deviating.
  • Handle complaints, queries and all interaction with clients, Intermediaries, Service Providers, internal stakeholders, Relationship Managers.
  • Process payments and orders relating to car hire.
  • Responsible to arrange and manage car hire requests, extensions and terminations, keeping dashboards up to date and meeting TAT targets

QUAILIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Matric
  • Fully computer literate (MS Office)
years' claims experience

  • Any previous claims handling, presupport and or post support experience
  • Knowledge of Abuntex and BPM will be an advantage
  • Car hire handling processes will be advantages
