Conduct research and supervise Postgraduate Students.

  • Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
    Minimum Requirements (Associate Professor)
Doctoral Degree in Civil Engineering
At least six years relevant lecturing experience and active research experience in higher education in Civil Engineering
Demonstratable track record of successful postgraduate supervision.
Demonstratable track record of publications in accredited and per-reviewed journals

Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) is required or must be willing to register within 12 months of employment.


Minimum Requirements (Senior Lecturer)

  • Doctoral Degree in Civil Engineering
  • At least four years relevant lecturing experience and active research experience in higher education in Civil Engineering
  • Demonstratable track record of successful postgraduate supervision.
  • Demonstratable track record of publications in accredited and perreviewed journals

  • Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) is required or must be willing to register within 12 months of employment.
