Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements for the position of Professor:

  • LLD or equivalent, in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law, or a related field
- extensive teaching experience in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law
- an outstanding record of quality peer-reviewed publications in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law
- an excellent record of successful postgraduate supervision at Master's and Doctoral level
- evidence of expertise and of international recognition in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law
- the integration of community engagement with learning and teaching and/or research

Minimum Requirements for the position of Associate Professor:

  • LLD or equivalent, in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law, or a related field
- teaching experience in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law
- a significant record of quality peer reviewed publications in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law
- a record of successful postgraduate supervision, at least at Master's level, and
- evidence of expertise, national standing, and an international presence in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law
- the integration of community engagement with learning and teaching and/or research

Minimum Requirements for the position of Senior Lecturer:

  • LLD or equivalent, in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law, or a related field
- teaching experience, in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law
- a record of quality peer reviewed publications in the field of public law and/or jurisprudence and/or public international law
- a record of successful supervision at LLB final year level, whilst supervision at Master's and Doctoral level would be advantageous.
