ITG USA Study Abroad Program Coordinator

Location:

Number of Weekly Hours:
Full-Time (exempt). Some evenings & weekends

Responsible for product development and information maintenance for 60 USA Study Abroad programs.

In charge of curating up-to-date details regarding student visas and travel restrictions, course availability, student accommodation and meal options, and included excursions for Semester, Full Year and Summer study abroad offerings.

Delivers program information to the Lead Generation and Advisor teams for training and promotional purposes and contributes to the company institutional knowledge.

Will research new Study Abroad program offerings and opportunities to support the Program Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver concise written information on programs for use by the advisor and lead generation teams
  • Have extensive knowledge of all Study Abroad programs offered
  • Evaluate new and current university partnerships for potential growth and expansion of programs
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key departments on campus related to study abroad programs
  • Support organizational marketing strategies through content design and creation, social media, print material design, and digital content creation.
  • Maintain accurate data, university records, and reports in the CRM system and other tools.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Has a University degree in English/Education/Communication/Education or other relevant field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills/diplomacy in crosscultural communication
  • Has excellent command of English (both spoken and written) and can create regular written content in English
  • 25 years experience in international education or related fields, with an understanding of the US higher education system.
  • Participation in International study, internship, volunteering, work, or travel
  • Experience in a relationshipbuilding role
  • Operational experience with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms
  • Experience working remotely
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Is located in South Africa
  • Can work fulltime remote
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work with precise attention to detail
  • Can see beyond barriers and adept at problemsolving
  • Is interested in working with other cultures
  • Is eager to learn and improve their skills
  • Has an interest in the international education and travel industry
  • Has a friendly demeanor and a positive, cando attitude toward work
  • Comfortable working in everchanging routines (day to day tasks look different depending on the time of year)
  • Ability to adjust schedules to accommodate meetings in different time zones (ie. 7am or 9pm calls with Vietnam)
