PUPROSE OF THE ROLE:


Responsible & accountable for managing the operational outputs, assets, costs, and performance of all direct & indirect reports in a specific geographic region or area to ensure the attainment of divisional performance targets whilst optimizing operational efficiencies and productivity and ensuring engagement and high performance of workforce.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification/s:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement policies and processes as set out by the regional manager and ensure compliance of team as set out by the business governance and strategy.
  • Monitor and maintain adherence to all safety, statutory & regulatory compliance requirements and business governance framework principles.
  • Deliver against operational KPIs and take corrective action within area.
  • Ensure cost control and no variances. Identify & escalate to management all unnecessary cost factors that if reduced could enable leaner business operations. Manage the use of company assets, fuel, data allowances and software licences to identify possible abuse and take corrective actions and report to management.
  • Responsible and accountable for brand reputation and company asset management in your area of responsibility.
  • Implement new business and client initiatives as and when required and report back on infield use cases, outcomes, and progress.
  • Establish and manage relationships with internal and external key stakeholders such as regional managers, client, store managers,, vendors and partners ,brokers by ensuring strong communication and collaboration with all stakeholder teams
  • Reporting on the broker SLA performance per division of resource requirements are met in terms of forecasted demand, geographic placement, headcount numbers and quality standards.
  • Effectively collaborate and provide proactive feedback with internal planning and control teams and client teams to address areas of concerns which impacts driver network, store/divisional performance, or our customers brand negatively and implement remedial change measures to address and resolve.
  • Monitor and report on trends, identify opportunities for optimisation and develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity, including training and development, coordination and execution of programs, process improvements and solutions. Raise issues timeously & propose solutions which may resolve or accelerate the competitive advantage of the business.
  • Accountable and responsible for implementing monthly progress tracking updates of all development plans of direct reports.
  • Ensure that area is appropriately structured and resourced to deliver against operational requirements for business continuity.
  • Build capable, strong and motivated team that is engaged by leading, mentoring and coaching direct reports to ensure a high level of engagement and performance.
