We are seeking a Capacity Building Manager for a 2-year contract role (till mid 2025) based in East London, Eastern Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Honors Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Education, HR or relevant
  • 5+ years' experience as a training manager
  • Facilitator, moderator, or SDF certificate
  • Facilitator, moderator, and assessor experience
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Experience in traditional and modern training methods
  • Experience in and proof of developing training material
  • Specialized knowledge and demonstrated expertise in HIV/AIDS programs
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel extensively

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Determine training objectives by conducting technical and mandatory training
  • Oversee development of WSP and ATR
  • Ensure that skills levies are claimed, and that relevant learnerships/skills programmes are applied for
  • Develop material in line with training and accreditation requirements
  • Analyze overall technical need
  • Attend organized training meetings and manage technical training program development
  • Establish processes to monitor training results and provide training budget input
  • Conduct effective staff induction and orientation sessions; evaluate training effectiveness
  • Ensure set training targets are achieved, and develop training terms
  • Quarterly training update

Salary:
R per annum CTC for the contract duration
