To provide advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvement tactics; enabling the provision of specialist value added service expertise.


Job Description:

Sourcing and Commercial enablement of New Services and

Service Providers:

Create an effective Value Added landscape by recruiting and onboarding suppliers / services which will maximize benefit to other products via embedment and bundling services into packs to be added to customers.

Identify opportunities to drive customer awareness of the bundled products by effectively managing delivery channels supported by Marketing.

| Stakeholder Management:

Develop effective business relationships with external service providers through the management of commercial and SLA agreements in conjunction with Rewards, VAS and Non-banking benefits operational area.

Responsible for service monitoring from service providers and monitor client experience to gain customer insight.

| Product Management:

To assimilate huge amounts of information - feedback from clients, quantitative data from web analytics, research reports, market trends and statistics in conjunction with internal and external service providers, supplying accurate and concise reports to know the market, service providers and customer needs, and then mix all that information to design and source relevant products.

Drive innovation around the product development and management cycle | Pricing and Financial Reconciliation:
Negotiate pricing with suppliers by following approved governance processes, in conjunction with Head: Middle Office & Non-Banking Enablement.

Engage with Finance to ensure correct payment of fees to external service providers | :

  • Vacancy In Sales Manger VAPs
  • To strategically manage, drive and lead a team that oversees the Value Added Products (VAP) function in Absa Vehicle and Asset Finance (AVAF) by ensuring that all support functions aimed at VAPs deliver to the target set and agreed upon within the relevant legislation and corporate governance.

Accountability:
Strategic business Performance management

  • Joint formulation of the bancassurance strategy with Insurance Stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of budget requirements by providing input on the business plan and conducting sensibility checks on the financials
  • Management the execution of the approved business plan.
  • Take accountability for the overall achievement of performance objectives in the business area in terms of the latest compliance and governance requirements
  • Key oversight of necessary product approval processes (bank and external products).
  • Implement required risk controls of all activities related to Vaps and continually measure effectiveness
  • Provide business intelligence and analysis related to Value Added Products in the VAF market.
  • Manage process and systems across channels i.e., integrative channel opportunities to enable shared growth.
  • Implement robust MI & Reporting capability to provide dynamic reporting and develop strategic insights to assess performance.
  • Facilitate and lead in meetings between stakeholders to position the AVAF insurance value proposition
  • Identify relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to create business opportunities
  • Initiate and communicate to the team appropriate relationship building strategies to be used to attain business objectives
  • Represent AVAF at relevant company and industry forums and events

Accountability:
People Management

  • Oversee the activities of the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services to clients as per agreed service levels and valueadding HR initiatives.
  • Embed performance management, coaching and sharing of knowledge to create a highperformance team culture.
  • Identify and analyse development needs and ensure that training needs are executed in line with budget requirements, business strategy and transformation targets.
  • Establish and maintain a succession plan for the team to ensure a sustainable workforce.
  • Contribute and participate in the recruitment process and capacity planning of the HR team in line with transformation targets and remuneration and benefits framework.
  • Review, update and contribute to the organisation's structure and role profiles when required to ensure that they are fit for purpose and contain all the accountabilities of each team member.
  • Address all disciplinary and grievance procedures for team members to correct behavior and to maintain a conducive working environment.
  • Motivate team members through the creation of an environment that promotes employee engagement through reward
