Operations Manager:
Property Management

Cape Town

R per annum CTC + Cell + Fleet Card + Performance Bonus

Our leading Property Management client, is seeking an Operations Manager for inspection of buildings, management, and control of service
- and maintenance contractors, management and control of tenant installations and execution of building relevant activities as predetermined by the Portfolio Manager

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualification in Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Construction background
  • Min 5 years' exp in Facilities/Operations/Property management.

Skills Required:

a. Quality/standards awareness and implementation,

b. Basic contract management,

c. Co-ordination Skills,

d. Business Writing Skills,

e. Financial / Numeracy Skills,

f. Call & Query Analysis,

g. Computer Literacy - MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), MDA.

Knowledge Required:

a. In depth knowledge of lease conditions including house rules,
b. Knowledge of housekeeping principles,

c. Knowledge of service level agreements principles

d. Mid-level to advanced technical knowledge,

e. Knowledge of Company policies and procedures,

f. Administration principles and reporting,

g. Working knowledge of statutory requirements,

h. Operational Health and Safety regulation

i. Knowledge of cost budgeting and control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective operations management of Building and facilities.
  • Responsible for the security of all the Building facilities. Conducts scheduled inspections of security systems and implements improvements as necessary
  • Responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost effective administration of building operations
  • Responsible for ensuring professional business relations with vendors, contractors, and trade professionals.
  • Responsible for related duties as required or assigned
