  • The aim of GIA is to offer independent, objective assurance to the Board of Directors through the Group Audit Committee. This is to ensure that governance processes, risk management, and internal control systems are adequate and effective in mitigating risks that could hinder the accomplishment of the Group's strategy and key goals. These activities are carried out following the GIA Internal Audit Methodology to enhance the internal control and risk culture of the Group.
  • GIA operates under the oversight of the Group Audit Committee (GAC), which is mandated to oversee the work of the Internal Audit function within the Group and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities of the Group Internal Audit Portfolio Manager: Credit
  • Purpose: Delivering on the annual audit plan to provide stakeholders with reasonable assurance that critical risks are being addressed through effective management controls, aligned with the Group Internal Audit (GIA) methodology.
  • The Manager is responsible for:
  • Performing data analytics and participating in audit-related meetings.
  • Managing end-to-end audit processes as needed (planning, fieldwork, reporting).
  • Documenting working papers and finalizing audit conclusions on TeamMate following the GIA methodology.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with internal audit teams, business units, and key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and thorough audit coverage, offering insights to enhance control environment assurance.
  • Preparing the audit report for the respective audit.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Essential qualifications:
  • BSc / BCom
  • CIA, CFE, ACAMS (optional)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Managerial role with 6-8 years of experience, specifically in:AML and Fraud detection/experienceData AnalyticsCoding in SAS and SQLAudit exposure (optional)ADDITIONAL PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
In addition to the specified qualifications and experience, along with strong technical skills and IQ, personal qualities and skills that are crucial for success in this position include:

- Strong leadership and judgment;
- Effective relationship management and stakeholder engagement;
- Business acumen;

- Ability to perform under pressure.Various assessments will be conducted to validate the suitability of shortlisted candidates before the final selection process.RequirementsMinimum experience required:
- Managerial role with 6-8 years of experience, particularly in:
o AML and Fraud detection/experience
o Data Analytics
o Coding in SAS and SQL
o Audit exposure (optional)
