• A Master's degree in Radiation Therapy or related equivalent qualification
• At least three (3) years' clinical experience in Radiation Therapy
• At least two (2) years' lecturing experience at a tertiary level in Radiation Therapy
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Radiographer
• Current and updated Continuous Professional Development portfolio
• Experience in moderation at National Diploma and B Tech level
• A tertiary level teaching qualification will be an added advantage

• Registration with the HPCSA as a Radiographer
• Current and updated Continuous Professional Development portfolio

• Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities
• Present clinical Radiation Therapy training including tutorials, practical demonstrations and evaluations, covering all relevant aspects of Radiation Therapy at all levels
• Assist with the coordination of Radiation Therapy programme and liaison with clinical facilities in which work integrated learning takes place
• Participate in quality assurance activities within the department.
• Building partnerships with industry and communities through service learning projects.
• Academic and clinical programme planning and management, inclusive of associated organization and administrative duties.
• Curriculum development and ongoing quality and programme review.
• Conduct research and supervision of Masters students. (for the Lecturer position)
• Perform other functions as may be assigned to by the Head of department.
