Signal Hill Products is looking for a Learning and Development Specialist

Overall Responsibilities:

Design, measure and implement the Learning and Development Plan for the business in partnership with Customers

KPA 1:
Compile Annual Training Plan


  • Identify training and development needs in conjunction with HR Business Partners and Line Managers
  • Ensure Legal, specific functional & Manufacturing excellence training is covered
  • Complete and submit, to the SETA the WSP and ATR
  • Ensure SETA and statutory training requirements are met



KPA X:
Execute the Training plan in monthly "buckets" with the Customers


  • From the Annual training plan confirm the next months plan with Plant departmental heads, and communicate to Plants one month in advance (for plant planning purposes)
  • Provide monthly adherence to training plan report

KPA 2:
Manage the implementation of Learning and Development Interventions


  • Determine the design and development requirements for interventions as per the L&D plan
  • Design and develop learning interventions
  • Source and facilitate the implementation of the L&D interventions
  • Provide support to HRBP's and Line management on all L&D related tasks
  • Build relationships with tertiary institutions
  • Source and manage bursars
  • Facilitate apprentice and learnership programs with Line managers/Supervisors taking accountability for the progress of learners
  • Administer study assistance programmes
  • Develop and manage internship and graduate development programmes
  • Ensure adherence with the SLA's in the implementation of all L&D interventions

KPA 3:
Manager the Competency Acquisition Program (CAP)


  • Development of CAP guides
  • Custodian of the CAP process

KPA4:
Reporting and analytics


  • Compile and present progress reports on L&D
  • Measuring ROI of all L&D initiatives
  • Maintain records and reports

Requirements:

  • Degree in HR/Industrial Psychology/BCom
  • Minimum of 5 years Experience working in the FMCG environment
  • Experience working in the Food and Bev industry would be an advantage
