Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of admissions processes entrance examinations, interviews, assessments, liaison with school heads and parents
  • Coordination with Principal regarding assessments, scholarships and bursaries, interviews, place offers
  • Information service to prospective parents on admissions, curriculum and all school matters
  • Ongoing waitlist management
  • Collection of relevant data and pupil information
  • Liaison with Accounts Department on the payment of placement fees and deposits
  • Ongoing communication with prospective parents
  • Liaising with the website Content Manager regarding updates to admissions details on the website

Other Responsibilities:

  • Management of study visa processes for international students
  • Capturing of incoming and leaving pupils on Cemis database
  • Secretary of Scholarships and Bursaries committee:
  • Taking meeting notes
  • Preparation and mailing of correspondence to applicants
  • Liaison with key donors

Experience and Qualification:

  • Matric and another suitable qualification
year relevant working experience

  • Previous school experience is essential
  • Customer relations experience and ability to engage positively with members of the public
  • Experience with databases essential

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer relations experience
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills with specific ability in managing databases and analysing data
  • Process orientated individual who is constantly looking for efficiencies and opportunities to streamline processes
  • Patience and empathy dealing with prospective parents
  • Committing to working with the values and Christian ethos of the College
