GENERAL MANAGER
Role Overview:
Objectives Of This Role
- Develop strategic plan for optimized productivity
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
- Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
General Tasks
- Oversee and assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
- Delegate responsibilities to the bestqualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved
Managing Team Leaders (TL) and Project Managers (PM)
- Manage the Team Leaders and Project Manager's daily criticals
- Manage the Team Leaders and Project Manager's weekly and month Project Milestones
Overseeing daily business
- Oversee and take responsibility of overall Departmental performance
- Ensuring TLs and PMs follow processes and procedures
- Oversee TL and PMs performance
- Collate weekly Departmental reports to ensure all reports are sent and received by the CEO and COO
Reporting
- Preparing of Weekly and Monthly reporting by collating information from all departments
- Arrange meetings with CEO and COO to discuss the report outcomes to evaluate the business, looking at risks, KPIs and how to make better informed decisions within the company
Financial Performance
- Evaluate and improve on the company's financial performance
- Analyse the Cost of Sales, Services rendered and look at company expenditure and how to maximise profits
- Analyse the Balance Sheets, income statements and cash flow statements in order to compare this with the company's trends over time

EXPERIENCE: 5-10 year's experience as a General Manager
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management (Honor's Degree preferred)
SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE:
Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks, XERO, Procurement systems
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Attention to detail, Problem Solving, Excellent organizational skills, time management. Proven success in a managerial role, Strong decision-making ability, Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills, proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans, ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable, strong working knowledge of operational procedures
