Job Objectives:

  • To execute customer service initiatives in store and take corrective action that results in a great customer experience and drives customer loyalty
  • To ensure that Production has sufficient work on a weekly basis
  • Ensuring that all Material issues are preformed timeously and queries addressed immediately
  • Ensuring the Warranty and Quarantine location are kept at the lowest possible value by ensuring all warranty products are sent to suppliers with 48hrs of being received in stores
  • Receiving and verifying stock manufactured by Production
  • Ensuring that stock is stacked and packed neatly in demarcated areas
  • Ensuring timeous and correct distribution of products
  • Ensuring correct loading and off loading of products
  • Monitoring of stock levels and ensuring timeous supply of stock to customers
  • Monthly stocktaking and Stock writeoffs
  • Stock investigations, receipting and reconciliations
  • Ensuring correct documentation pertaining to stock control and customer returns
  • Admin related to weekly paid staff
  • Ensuring excellent housekeeping and controls in the warehouse
  • To effectively manage the SCT (Service Spares) location and to ensure constant supply to areas.
  • To build and maintain sound working relationships with relevant stakeholders (centre managers, suppliers) to ensure business objectives are achieved and opportunities are maximised.
  • To maintain an awareness of customer trends, demographics and needs and monitor the activity of local competitors in order to capitalise on opportunities.
  • To drive cohesion, consistency and integration between the store operation, production and procurement teams.
  • To drive a high performing business culture that delivers employee affiliation, customer satisfaction and shareholder value.
  • To effectively oversee the Despatch department and to ensure all invoicing is done accurately and on time
  • Ensuring that deliveries are planned weekly and stake holders are informed daily on deliver details.
  • Implementing KPI's for all staff members in Stores / Despatch area.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Matric
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a stores and dispatch environment
  • Must have management experience
  • Storekeeping and stock control or related diploma or degree advantageous
  • Computer literacy on Microsoft office
