Barbershop Manager | JHB | Mens

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise barbers and support staff, overseeing tasks such as recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to guarantee smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming clients, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and handling feedback professionally.
  • Manage inventory levels of hair care products, tools, and equipment to maintain adequate supplies for daily operations.
  • Handle financial aspects like budgeting, pricing, billing, and cash management to drive profitability and cost-efficiency.
  • Uphold high standards for haircuts, shaves, and grooming services to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain clients through promotions, events, and social media presence.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and licensing requirements to foster a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, techniques, and client preferences to introduce enhancements that elevate the overall barbershop experience and reputation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric qualification
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Barbershop or salon management
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with staff and clients
  • Strong organizational skills to manage scheduling, inventory, and basic bookkeeping
  • Business acumen to drive financial tasks and decision-making processes
  • Leadership capabilities to inspire and oversee barbers and support staff
  • Marketing proficiency to craft client attraction and retention strategies
  • Ability to adapt to industry trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Salary: Negotiable based on candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience Start Date: Immediate
