The Project Manager:
Adumo Payments - role encompasses this purpose in its entirety.- Understand the product vision and strategy and be able to articulate it to the team

  • Work with the product owner to develop and maintain a product backlog that is prioritized and ready for execution
  • Plan and execute sprints, ensuring delivery of highquality features within the committed timeframe
  • Monitor progress against the sprint goal and make adjustments to the plan as necessary
  • Manage each sprint or release cycle, ensuring that it does not exceed the available time/budget
  • Remove impediments that block the team's progress or prevent them from working effectively
  • Evaluate project risks, making decisions about how to mitigate them, and communicating those decisions to stakeholders
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos
  • Help the team to continuously improve their process and delivery
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and risks
  • Manage dependencies on other teams and ensure timely delivery of required artifacts
  • Work with a team of developers, product managers, and other professionals to ensure that projects stay on track and meet their deadlines.
  • Use an iterative approach to manage projects.
  • Communicate with the client throughout the project to ensure that they are aware of project status and of any potential risks
  • Communicate effectively with clients or other stakeholders about project goals and progress
  • Manage the project schedule and identifying potential risks or issues that may impact the schedule or cost of the project
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to industry best practices
  • Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues


Adumo's Project Managers are expected to have a strong sense of ownership, be extremely reliable and have an excellent level of problem-solving, process, communication and people/expectation management skills backed up by hands on experience.

PMs need to have a strong agile and solutionist mindset.

Required:
Experience & Education

Minimum

  • 23 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Project Management/Agile certifications

Desired

  • 3 + years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Technical experience in a related IT Industry
  • Experience in retail, banking, payments industries
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing complex projects in a hightech development environment with multifunction teams.
  • Experience overseeing multifunction project teams.
