Marketing Project Co-ordinator


My client is a global organization providing brand and product solutions to retail & digital channels across 70 countries worldwide.

The Brand Activation Director, who is based in Cape Town, seeks to appoint a Project Co-ordinator to assist the global team in the execution of marketing, brand and sales support campaigns.


Hybrid working:
Tuesday - Thursday at office in Montague Gardens, Mondays and Fridays remote.

Salary:
R18 000 Net remuneration negotiable

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics or Business Management
  • 2+ years relevant professional experience
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel

Soft Skills:

  • Detailoriented and highly organized.
  • Analytical with strong numeracy skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and under tight time constraints, coordinating and executing multiple projects and campaigns in a highvolume, fastmoving environment.
  • Ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative tasks like research, data capturing, compiling presentations, scheduling of team meetings.
  • Assist in the preparation and release of promotional materials, digital assets, product launches and digital campaigns.
  • Gather and interpret global customer insights and translate into key opportunities and actions.
  • Consolidate regional pricing, competitor pricing and market analysis.
  • Attend strategy meetings, taking minutes, tracking of team deadlines and necessary budgets.
  • Participate in brand activation meetings and brainstorming sessions for the development of marketing campaigns to drive sales growth.
  • Plan and support in the execution of brand activation campaigns.
  • Brief creative and media teams (internal and external) with clear objectives, requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Brief suppliers on packaging requirements, review and track all updates or changes, liaise with all stakeholders for final sign off and manage the ontime delivery of packaging artwork.
  • Ensure that creative campaigns are executed within established timelines.
  • Responsible for postcampaign reporting.
  • Assist with website, social media, and digital requirements.
