Responsibilities:

  • Technical: Sample loading and verification of results. Requesting and checking of quotations. Assist departments with technical queries and ad hoc projects.
  • Administration: Sample handling and management in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Efficient and accurate data capturing. Monthly progress reporting. Receiving and processing of samples. Representative of
    FACTS. Communication with shoppers and stores. Communication with courier services. At times there are additional ad hoc tasks that are required. Daily liaison between the client and the laboratories. Communication with technologists and technical assistants.

Experience / Education:

  • Must have completed a bachelor's degree or tertiary education in food science (or similar).
  • License/Certification:
  • Driver's License (required)


 Willingness to travel: Once a week to Stellenbosch (required)
