Roles & Responsibilities:
- _Ensure that the following is done on a daily basis: _

  • That all staff has everything that they require for
the day of trade (FOH & BOH).

  • Check all bookings for the day have been catered
for according to customer requests.

  • Do daily cash ups & make sure that it balances.
  • That all invoices have been entered into the POS
system & the sales analysis.

  • Handle customer complaints on the floor if the
junior manager is unable to solve the problem.

  • Ensure that the staff has enough to prep for the
next day.

  • Inspect the fridges to make sure they are clean,
food is covered, labelled & packed correctly.

  • Ensure the kitchen manager has all necessary
paperwork for costings, waste & issuing of stock.

  • Create a training schedule for staff cross training
monthly.

  • Liaise with the General Manager.
  • Open & close except on off days.
  • Ensure that all COVID19 procedures are adhered
to.

  • Motivate staff & maintain teamwork.
  • Chair waiter & BOH meetings.
  • Supervise the weekly stock takes.
  • Help out on the floor & check up on customers.
  • Complete monthly staff attendance registers.
  • Complete all tasks requested by the General Manager.
