Reputable IT Organization in JHB is looking for Customer On-boarding Specialist to join their team. Join an organization who has built a reputation as one of the leaders in data storage.
The primary role of this person will be to act as an additional resource to assist the sales team with the on-boarding of all customers, including resellers as well as end-users, immediately
The successful incumbent should have a good understanding of the cloud backup/ IT industry, therefore ensuring efficient and effective onboarding of all customers Our client is looking for a talented and competitive Customer On-boarding Specialist that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment

  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Partner Account Managers for further development and closure
Complete onboarding of customers onto the portal, to assist the sales team in meeting quarterly quotas
Perform effective online demos to onboarded customers
In-depth understanding of the on-boarding portal as well as the backup consol - training will be provided
Ability to understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
Recognise customer needs and offer services to them through the company's portfolio
Serve as a go-to source for clients who want more information concerning our products

experience, qualifications and skills

2-5 years similar experience
Proven experience with customer onboarding
Similar experience within cloud backup will be advantageous
Experience working on ZOHO CRM will be advantageous
Basic technical understanding

Qualifications
Minimum NQF 4 (Matric)
NQF 5 or higher will be advantageous.
Valid code 8 driver's license and own reliable transport
Stable internet at home

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication: Both strong listening and communication skills are crucial as a Customer Onboarding Specialist. They need to know when to talk and when to listen. The Specialist will also learn how to listen for common objections and utilize sales training to overcome them.

Good teamwork:

The successful incumbent should thrive in a team environment whereby they will be required to interact with various other departments and/or teams, to help ensure the sales goals are achieved.

Good interpersonal and teamwork skills will
assist the Specialist in effectively working in the Storvault environment

Persuasion:
mastering the skill of persuasion shall assist the Specialist in finalising the on-boarding of the customer, as well as aid in the building of a trusting relationship between the customer and Storvault
Good phone etiquette - reaction time will be a critical measurement
Strong presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
Strong interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and can work within a team
MS Office literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook essential)
Ability to work independently and meet daily tasks.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail
