Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective Google Ads campaigns on various platforms such as Search, Display, and Video to achieve specific marketing goals.
  • Perform keyword research, analyze competitors' strategies, and identify opportunities for campaign optimization to maximize ROI.
  • Create engaging ad copies that connect with target audiences and stimulate clicks and conversions.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and produce regular reports to monitor key metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Utilize A/B testing and optimization techniques to enhance campaign performance continuously.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, Google Ads updates, and best practices to keep campaigns aligned with the latest trends.
  • Collaborate with various teams like marketing, design, and analytics to ensure Google Ads strategies are in line with overall marketing efforts and business goals.
  • Offer suggestions for website and landing page enhancements to enhance user experience and boost conversion rates from Google Ads traffic.
  • Manage budgets efficiently, distribute funds strategically, and optimize spending to deliver the best outcomes within budget limits.
  • Keep abreast of local market trends and consumer behavior to tailor campaigns effectively to the Cape Town market.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field (experience preferred).
  • 5 years of proven experience in managing Google Ads campaigns, including Google Ads certification.
  • Thorough understanding of Google Ads platforms (Google Ads, Google Display Network, YouTube Ads) and expertise in campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics and other analytics tools to interpret campaign performance metrics.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and landing page optimization is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and familiarity with other digital marketing channels like social media advertising is advantageous.
