The Role of the Internal Healthcare Consultant II (support service admin) is to work closely with health and benefit consultants in servicing existing and prospective clients.

The incumbent is also a primary point of contact for clients, applying company policies and procedures to provide varied technical and professional inputs in resolving issues that are generally similar of nature.

What the day will look like Being the primary point of contact for clients Member management Resolve routine queries via inbound and outbound calls to and from the Aon Resolution Centre Provide retention support to Healthcare Benefit Consultants Preparation of the off-lodging complaints with the CMS Investigation, negotiation and resolving greater extreme care on behalf of clients Engage in business development and/or contributing directly or indirectly to all business development efforts in Aon South Africa Skills and experience that will lead to success Qualifications A recognised matric qualificationAn NQF5 or equivalent qualification in Healthcare / Healthcare AdministrationA relevant bachelor's degree from a reputable tertiary educational institution would be advantageousRegistration as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS act and CMSAccreditation on 8 medical schemes, 3 GAP cover schemes and 2 occupational health products is requiredKnowledge Well-developed knowledge of principles and practices within a technical/professional disciplineThe ability to analyse data from medical schemes competently and objectivelyGood knowledge of policy wordingsSkills and Attributes Analytical skills i.e.

problem-solving, potential problem analysis and decision analysisAbility to work in and contribute to teams constructivelySpoken and written communications skillsInfluencing and persuading skillsInterpersonal skillsComputer literacy in Excel and WordExperience At least - 5 years experience in a similar or related roleExtensive healthcare experienceProven record of achievement as a consultantHow we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
