Procurement Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Communication and Networking:


  • Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers through effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless communication and ontime deliveries.

2.

Organizational Skills:


  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with a focus on prioritization.
  • Effectively manage the administration of accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prioritize order processing and maintain meticulous document management.

3.

Problem Solving:


  • Showcase adept problemsolving skills to address challenges and ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Collaborate with the Workshop Inventory team to manage stock levels efficiently.

4.

Technical Proficiency:


  • Possess sound knowledge of general office administration procedures.
  • Showcase strong computer literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

5.

Quality Assurance:


  • Conduct rigorous quality checks to uphold product standards.
  • Coordinate returns or replacements promptly when necessary.

6.

Financial Coordination:


  • Work closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate coding of invoices to respective jobs.
  • Facilitate seamless tracking of expenses for improved financial transparency.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement administration and/or buying within the manufacturing and production industry.
  • Prior experience in the aluminum sector is highly desirable.
