Purpose
Clickatell is in search of a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join the sales support team at our Cape Town office. The role involves developing tailored solutions that align with company objectives to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction in the region. You will execute the sales strategy within the specified budget, offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful team contributing to the delivery, management, and expansion of Clickatell products worldwide.

Role Responsibilities

  • Thorough understanding of Clickatell's business and the management of enterprise solutions.
  • Support the sales and account management team by promoting the Clickatell value proposition through extensive product and solution knowledge.
  • Identify business challenges, gather client requirements, and devise high-level solutions for inclusion in sales proposals.
  • Align customer needs with product offerings and customer journeys.
  • Utilize Clickatell's capabilities to develop solutions that address customer requirements.
  • Enhance the customer experience with Clickatell's solution offerings through design and development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on customer solutions for sales support.
  • Manage program features, prioritize roadmap items, and offer product collateral.
  • Contribute to product marketing collateral and accelerate the adoption of solution offerings among Clickatell's customer base.
  • Provide advanced solution selling support to the sales and account management team.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and guide the Technical Account Management team on solution implementations.
  • Assist in establishing best practices for applying Clickatell solutions and develop necessary collateral for RFI/RFP responses.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Enterprise pre-sale support.
  • Experience in high-volume transactional solutions.
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Proficiency in chat commerce and customer experience design.
  • Familiarity with mobile telecommunication technologies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Capability to translate business needs into solution requirements.
  • Effective people management and leadership skills to drive vision, strategy, and day-to-day operations successfully.
  • An enthusiasm for customer and company success, coupled with curiosity, creativity, and courage.
  • Problem-solving, logical thinking, and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrate foresight, systematic planning, attention to detail, and adept negotiating skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
