We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team on a fixed term basis.

The vibrant and expanding South Africa market represents one of the strongest and fastest-growing geographies for the company in sub-Saharan Africa.

To capitalize on the strong growth momentum and leverage key relationships with brands around the geography, this broad-based black economic empowerment contingent role is being created to support our corporate communications function in South Africa, as well as on external activities for some of our targeted divisions across India, Middle East, and Africa.

This role will facilitate further growth by strategically building our brand through external partnerships, thought leadership, value creation and communication, and by supporting the enablement of internal communications.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. exceptional exposure and experience to the world-class workings of a global B2B business.

Role overview

Overall key competencies and expectations:

  • Champion One Ecolab brand building, within and across businesses and geographies
  • Support executive communications of SSA VP
  • Contribute to the delivery of business goals and enhance organizational reputation through supporting the execution of external communications strategies and activities.
  • Create and manage various forms of creative and insightful content for external and internal use
  • Inform, engage, and align employees through enabling internal communications execution
  • Maintenance of digital communication channels such as website, intranet, social media
  • Translate analysis and insights, external and internal, into effective key messages and brand platforms
  • Support sales activation

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field, and three to five years of related professional experience
  • South African citizen
